Kynopolis, auch Kynopolites, war der antike griechische Name einer altägyptischen Stadt. Der griechische Name lautete κυνῶν πολις – Stadt der Hunde. Der Ort lag am Westufer des Nilarms von Damiette, südlich von Abusir. In christlicher Zeit war der Ort Bischofssitz.
