History
Die Burg von Aydos ist die Ruine einer Gipfelburg. Als Burgstandort wählte man den 537 m hohen Aydoshügel, den höchsten Punkt Istanbuls. Aydos ist der türkisierte Form des byzantinischen Namens Aetos.
